USI Services was awarded the work to replace 2,500 water meters in the Town of Wickenburg starting August 2015. The upgrade is an on-going effort to improve the water delivery system and increase effeciency by expanding the town's automated meter reading program.

Does someone need to enter my home to install my meter?
No. All work can be completed without entering your home. USI Services employees will not ask or need to enter your premises.

How long will the installation take?
The installation usually takes about 15 minutes, however if the meter box setting requires any additional work – the installation time would be extended accordingly.

What hours will USI Services employees be working?
Between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM.

Am I required to be at home during my meter replacement?
No. Prior to replacing your meter, the USI Services employee will knock on the door to let you know that they will be installing the new meter. You do not have to be home for the replacement to occur.

How will I identify that the installer is an employee of USIServices?
All USI Services installers wear distinctive green vests and carry USI Services badges. Their vehicles will display the name USI and all workers will be identifiable with green safety jackets.

How can I verify their employment?

Will I be charged for the installation?
No.

What do I have to do to prepare for the installation?
No preparation is necessary.

How will I know the installation has been completed?
When installation is completed – a card will be left for you with follow-up hints. Please see this card and follow the directions.

What if I don't want this service?
While we will try to minimize any inconvenience to residents, this equipment installation is required on all homes in the town. This upgrade is an on-going effort to improve the water delivery system and expand the town's automated meter reading program. The installation time is expected to be minimal. Thank you in advance.
